Anastacia Tolstonog was born in Kiev in a family of musicians.
Anastacia's development and skills in playing the piano as a performer took place at Kiev's musicschool in the class of famous teachers Alla Mizhega and Margarita Donskaya. In this period she also was one of the first students who attended the unique didactic music system "Musicmodus" which was led by Yaroslav Mykhaylyuk. In Poltava Anastasia graduated with honors from the local music school where she attended the class from Larisa Smirnova.
The next step in her musical career was studying at the Saratov Conservatory in Russia where she attended the class of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Asya Kireyeva.
Under her guidance Anastacia gave many performances in Russia as a pianist. Interesting fact is that during her time at the Conservatory, Anastasia successfully studied in a specialized school for wind-instruments (class clarinet). In her fourth year at the Saratov conservatory she choose piano as her only instrument and a few years after that she graduated brilliantly as a pianist in conservatory and also received her post-graduate. In Saratov Anastacia recorded a CD from works by Bach, Rachmaninoff and Baslakirev.
Anastacia's professional career started as a soloist of Poltava's regional philharmonic in 2003. Since 2013 till 2015 she worked as soloist at Ivano-Frankivsk regional philharmonic. Nowadays she is a soloist from the Lviv organ and chamber music Hall, tours extensively in Ukraine and abroad.
Anastacia is skilled with a beautiful piano-technique. She has a refined sense for the style of many composers and their compositions. Most important Anastacia has the desire to show the listener the incredible diversity of the world piano heritage. Its spiritual infinity of space has inspired Anastasia to create new and original programs.
In 2011 there was a second CD recorded which includes the works of Brahms, Chopin, Scriabin and Beethoven.
In September of the 2012 Anastacia represented Ukraine at the international piano festival "Palermo -Classica" where she performed a program with works of Beethoven, Scarlatti ,Lizst and Ginastera. The same year she was invited to a festival "Music without borders" (Uzhorod,Ukraine), and the festival "December's evenings" (Zitomir,Ukraine). In 2013, while having a concert in Kherson philharmonic on a request from Kherson Music College piano department, she gave a masterclass for students of the Music College. In the same year she performed Levko Revutsky Piano Concerto F major in Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk Philharmonic's (first performance).
In 2014 Anastacia represented Victor Kosenko's "11etudes in the form of old dances" and gave a lecture about composer's style on invitation of the Bratislava Conservatory (Slovakia) and played a recital in the Mirbach Palace (Bratislava ,Slovakia).
In 2015 Anastacia presented "11 etudes ..." by Victor Kosenko in Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Vienna (Bosendorfer Hall ,Austria). As a result, in November of 2015 she recorded this suite of Victor Kosenko. In January 2016 there was a serie of recitals in the Netherlands ( Zwolle, Amsterdam , Utrecht). In Utrecht Conservatory Anastacia gave a lecture about Victor Kosenko 's works.
Since 2015 till present time Anastacia continues promoting Victor Kosenko music as well as sceintific research regarding his life and his works.
