I teach the musician, not just the piece.
You probably have a teacher already. You are here because the music has stopped moving forward — and that is usually your technique, your listening or your practice method rather than your effort. We start there, and we work until you can prepare a new piece without me.

Thirty minutes at the piano together. I listen, look at your technique, ask what you want from your playing — and tell you honestly whether I am the right teacher for you.

Questions you may have.
Can advanced teaching really work online?
Yes, when the lesson is built for it. With a second camera I often see your hand and arm movement more clearly than from across a room, and I can demonstrate at my own instrument, annotate your score on screen and send you written practice objectives afterwards. Judge it in the trial lesson rather than taking my word for it.
Which levels do you teach?
Roughly Grade 5 upwards, through higher grades, diplomas and conservatory audition programmes. If you are a beginner, I am not the right teacher for you.
What do you need at your end?
A stable connection, an acoustic piano or weighted digital with pedal, and a phone or laptop you can place near the keyboard — a second device at the side is useful but optional. I will help you set it up in your trial lesson.
How long, how often, and what does it cost?
£17.50 per 15-minute block: £35 for 30 minutes, £52.50 for 45, £70 for 60. Most of my students take one 45- or 60-minute lesson a week; if you are preparing an audition, often two. You pay monthly in advance by bank transfer.
Which languages, and which time zone?
Lessons in English and Ukrainian. I teach from Kyiv (EET) and arrange your lesson time around yours.
